DR. YASMINE ALAOUI

Yasmine Alaoui is a university lecturer and advisor in governance, attractiveness, and territorial marketing. She holds a Ph.D. in Economics and Management, specialising in territorial marketing. She had a professional Master’s degree in Territorial Attractiveness from Institut de Management Public et Gouvernance Territoriale (IMPGT) d’Aix-en-Provence, a specialised Master’s degree in management and public marketing from Aix-Marseilles Université/SciencePo, and a Master’s degree from the Ecole Nationale de Commerce et de Gestion (ENCG) specialising in Marketing and Commercial Actions (MAC).

She served as an advisor for numerous territorial marketing projects in Morocco, e.g. in Tangier, Casablanca, Marrakech, Oujda and Dakhla, providing strategic and operational guidance. Her expertise includes market studies, diagnostics, strategic choices, operational plans and evaluations. Additionally, she has advised for Spain, France, Senegal, Mali, Côte d’Ivoire, Congo and Brazzaville. Yasmine had also led the first and only territorial marketing event in Africa, the “Africa Place Marketing (APM)”, spearheaded the “Africa Place Marketing Awards” and initiated the “Africa Place Marketing Competition”.

Yasmine is an active researcher, a writer and publisher for indexed scientific articles and book chapters, as well as a regular conference speaker. She also delivers territorial marketing and attractiveness training for government officials and public institutions.

Yasmine is proficient in Arabic, French, Spanish and English.
