Svetlana Picou, with 25 years of global expertise, specialises in strategic advisory roles across political, business, and communications sectors. She has crafted complex international campaigns for various industries, focusing on integrated strategies for institutions, international initiatives, governments, NGOs, and high-profile projects. Her work encompasses communications, diplomacy, international relations, brand building, reputation management, and executive visibility.

A seasoned business leader, Svetlana has directed global teams to execute several award-winning campaigns, often bridging the gap between international and national environments, socio-economic development, social impact, and diplomacy. In 2020, she launched BLYK Strategies, concentrating on corporate diplomacy, women’s leadership, and strategic communications. Previously, she served as the Executive Vice President and a key member of the senior leadership team at Weber Shandwick for 19 years, focusing on Global Sport and the Olympics.

Now residing in the Middle East, Svetlana moved from France to serve as a strategic advisor for the Supreme Committee for Delivery & Legacy, contributing to the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022. She is an alumna of the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, has studied leadership at NHO’s business school in Norway, and is proficient in multiple languages.
